HD Wallpaper: View of the ocean and surfers at Pacifica State Beach
As I mentioned last night, the weather on the Northern California coast was gorgeous this weekend. It was 80 degrees and sunny. The beach was calling our name.
We hadn’t been to Half Moon Bay in a long time and decided to head that way since it was abnormally warm for the area (and the sky was clear). Shane decided to stop at Pacifica State Beach in Pacifica on the way. I’d never been, and I was so glad we visited. The air was warm, the sky was clear and blue, and there were surfers and beach umbrellas everywhere. We cut through the beach and headed right for the hillside to take photos.
Shane had fun with tilt-shift photography while we were overhead, and I’m so glad he did. This was one of my favorite photos from Saturday. I love how the people and surfboards pop out in the photo. You can even see the reflection of the surfer’s surfboard on the left — it’s the cutest thing.
The vintage-like processing gave it a nostalgic 60’s California beach vibe. It’s just so fun, and it might be one of my all-time favorite beach wallpapers. Although I wouldn’t expect less from such a great beach day.
