A Rainy Day in Chinatown: San Francisco, CA
I had my first guest in California this past weekend. My brother was in town checking out San Francisco and Chinatown was high on my sister-in-law’s list of “must sees.” Of course, I happily obliged. I hadn’t visited Chinatown yet and was instantly drawn in by the blast of bright color and the spirit of the neighborhood decor.
Needless to say, lunch was fantastic. I had a delicious plate of Sweet and Sour Chicken and a piping hot cup of tea, which was perfect. The weather was cool and rainy which added to the ambiance of Chinatown. It felt great to have family in California and it was bittersweet to see them off, but it was a memorable day. A rainy day in Chinatown makes for a great escape.
