Why I fell in love with Pinterest.

I’m not going to lie. The first time I saw Pinterest I thought “What a time suck.” As cute as it was, I couldn’t fathom spending my little nuggets of precious free time cataloging pretty things.

That was until I had a breakfast epiphany. You see, every morning I catch up on my e-mail while eating breakfast. Without fail, I always fall in love with some top in a “new arrivals” promotion, only to completely forget where on earth I saw it the next time I hop online for a bit of e-shopping.

Solution? Pinterest.

If you haven’t taken to it yet, Pinterest allows you to capture images (“pins”) from any website and stores them on boards and shares your “pins” with the Pinterest.com community.

Even better, Pinterest has a browser extension that allows you to capture the image from any website at the click of a button. It’s seamless, quick, and I’ll never forget about a top again. Sorry, wallet.

I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that there are guilty pleasures to be found in using Pinterest. I’ve fallen in love with the little site. Once you start collaborating with other users, the boards serve up endless doses of inspiration.

Here are a few of my favorite Pinterest users:

I swear Kate Pet is my twin when it comes to her hair and clothing tastes.

Not surprisingly, Paloma Contreras of La Dolce Vita always finds the prettiest things. Ever.

Erica Sara shares loads of inspirations via word play.

Kendi Everyday‘s style picks are like gigantic doses of sunshine.

Friends, who are your favorite Pinterest Tastemakers? I’d love to know.
