A delicious (and pictureless) Snack in a Hurry: Hot Cinnamon Pears

Good evening!  I had to slip in a quick post tonight.  I was on a mission to satiate a snack craving and ended up wishing I took a picture because it was so great!   Does that ever happen to you?  I have to get in the habit of just photographing everything, just in case it turns out better than I expect it to!

I was craving hot pears and yogurt tonight.  Since I was short on time, I decided to turn the oven on broil and open a can of pear halves.  I was making this happen!  I placed two pear halves in a small pan, drizzled them with honey, sprinkled cinnamon on top and broiled them for about four minutes.  I promptly removed them and added 0% Oikos Vanilla Greek Yogurt and topped it off with almonds.

Hot cinnamon pear halves in under 5 minutes!  It was a nice fall treat and a quick indulgence.  I definitely recommend it for those busy days when you just want a nice, comforting dessert.

In follow up to my previous Kettleworx post, I am still enamored with the workout.  I have been doing it every other morning and love that I feel like I am working every muscle.  This morning I did the resistance session for week one and loved it.  It has been a while since I have looked forward to a new workout in the morning.  That’s a good sign!  If anyone has a favorite exercise DVD, I would love to hear about it! I usually like doing my indoor morning exercise on the Wii since it measures your accuracy, but I am looking for alternatives until EA Sports Active 2 comes out in November.  I’d love any suggestions!
