Breakfast in a Hurry: Warm Blueberry Almond Butter English Muffin

My favorite breakfast in a hurry consists of blueberries and crunchy almond butter toasted on my Griller, Jr. and served hot, panini-style.

The recipe is simple:

Place about 1/4 cup of whole blueberries on top of an english muffin half covered with one tablespoon of crunchy almond butter.

Place the other english muffin half on top so you have a sandwich.  Place on a panini grill for about   3 minutes on medium heat.  Do allow about one minute for the berries to cool.  They become quite hot after grilling.

Grilling the blueberries makes them taste like warm jam!

I enjoyed mine with a hot cup of Tazo Awake Black Tea.  It was a great way to start the morning!
